Reach
About the Show
Written by Lara Foot, Reach stages a tense, ultimately redemptive encounter between a young Black man and an elderly white woman in a remote, unforgiving rural landscape. It premiered at the Baxter Theatre Centre in 2007 before travelling to the Theaterformen festival in Hanover, and has since been published in Armed Response: Plays from South Africa (Seagull Books).
