The Inconvenience of Wings

Ten years in the making, Lara Foot's play examines the impact of mental illness on both patient and caregiver with unflinching honesty. Since premiering in 2016 it has won Fleur du Cap awards for Best Director (Foot), Best Actor (Andrew Buckland) and Best Actress (Jenifer Steyn), and played to sold-out houses at the National Arts Festival, the Baxter and the Market Theatre before earning five-star reviews at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
